The sequence of winter blues continued for the last weekend of the financial year with 13 out of 21 auctioned peninsula properties failing to sell on the day.  It an indicative result being felt across metro areas as much as it is here on the blissful Mornington Peninsula.  What does that mean?, well there’s plenty of stock available for trade.  The majority of auctioned property at this time of the year is under $1M with the odd premium home coming up for public competition.

Leanne Porter of Barry Plant successfully sold 16 Rutland Avenue Mount Eliza on Saturday.  2 bidders had a crack with the eventual winner taking home the prize for $1,136,000; a win win vendor / buyer result.

We’ll be featuring a lovely peninsula home this Thursday, make sure you check back then.  In the meantime you can see last weekends results and our best premium real estate buys and the links below.
