6 OUT OF 10 IS THAT 60% ?

60% auction clearance rate for the Mornington Peninsula over the weekend, sure the sample size was small, but we’ll claim victory across the state and why shouldn’t we, everybody wants to move here.   The majority of sales were within or exceeded the advertised EPR. 41 Carrigg Street Dromana proved profitable for the vendors, reaching a price of $692,000 from an asking position of $603,000.

1 Churchill Road Mount Martha, failed to attract a buyer on Saturday and is now for private sale for $1.3M, the price looks right and the property shouldn’t be sitting for too much longer.

Mount Eliza is again on the move with 9 new listings hitting the market this week.  Property is selling in this part of the peninsula and quickly. With spring approaching this suburb is getting in early and homes are attracting plenty of attention.  Still undervalued its easy to see why Mount Eliza continues to outstrip beachside addresses closer to town.

A quick look at this weekends auctions shows plenty of promise.  Numbers are projecting upward, quality of stock is inviting and one can feel the onset of spring.  We’ll be back later in the week, with the weekends auction listings and best buys.  In the meantime you check out Saturday’s results and our best premium property picks below.
